• Other variants- The fabric is also used to make kurtis, salwar kameez, belts, scarves. The fabric is also used for embroideries and appliques.


Chiffon sarees and the Bollywood connection: Chiffon sarees are quite popular as fashion items. The Bollywood movies have been portraying the fabric for a long time. Bollywood divas like Rekha, Hema Malini, Madhuri Dixit, Deepika Padukone, and Katrina Kaif well have flawed their beautiful physique with stunning chiffon sarees.


Chiffon sarees and the Royal connection: A woman should have plenty of chiffon sarees to their wardrobe as the fabric was a trademark of Indian Maharanis. It gave a sense of identity and style. Maharani Gayatri Devi of Jaipur was one of the first Maharani’s whose sarees were created in France according to her specifications.
